The Scarborough Campus Students' Union by-elections is now CLOSED.
Directors have the opportunity to represent students in their department and gain experience as a voting member of the Board. Starting September 29th, come to SCSU Office with your T-Card to get your Nomination Package and make sure to return it by October 6th!

Director Responsibilities
Attending meetings of the Board, the commission and committees where they hold membership.
Joining at least one committee or commission.
Maintaining regular office hours or actively joining a project or campaign of the Union.
Acting with diligence, fiduciary responsibility, honesty and good faith in the best interest of the Union.
Recruiting students from their constituency to participate in union projects, events, services and campaigns.
Reading, understanding and abiding by the union’s Letter Patent, By-Laws and Policies.
Maintaining confidentiality of in camera sessions and documentation.
Vice-president Campus Life Responsibilities
Shall develop, recommend and present the SCSU Events Calendar to the Board.
Shall report projected budgetary needs for the year to the Vice-President Operations within the first six weeks of the elected term.
Shall coordinate the programming and delivery of all Union events.
Shall be responsible for ensuring the timely and regular advertising of all events.
Shall be responsible for processing and keeping an accurate account of all club funding requests received and granted by the Union.
Shall participate as a voting member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and Policy & By-Laws Committee.
Shall represent the Union on, but not limited to, relevant University committees and task forces concerning residences, food and licensing.
